This is a ITS Technician II position to support the ITS Integrated Solutions Delivery(ISD) team:
POSITION PURPOSE:
Perform well-defined technical and administrative tasks within a specific discipline to support the operations of the Integrated Solutions Delivery(ISD) Team.
REPORTS:
The incumbent reports to the ISD Project Management Team Leader.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE RECOMMENDED:
1. High-school education and knowledge of or course work relating to the data processing field. Demonstrated skills and one to two years of related experience is typically needed for this position
2. Incumbent must have the ability to analyze information/data to identify trends and/or opportunities and develop plans to address identified improvement opportunities
3. Ability to think independently with a high degree of initiative and self-coordination is required
4. This position requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, a desire for high work quality and accuracy, and skills in thoroughness, analyzing, flexibility, decision making and oral/written communications
5. With appropriate staining have the ability to use Clarity, SAP, and Business Warehouse to extract performance management information to support project management activities
6. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
7. Strong planning and organizing skills are required
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. The successful candidate will provide a wide range of highly- skilled administrative support services to the ISD team. Examples of support include project resource and workplan maintenance, project financial control and reporting, producing project status and related analysis reports, maintaining shared electronic documentation, maintaining appointment calendars using Microsoft Outlook; maintaining and extending team best practices; arranging meetings and conferences; providing office support; and preparing meeting agendas and notes from drafts or handwritten copies. The individual in this position will also prepare presentations using PowerPoint, maintain department web pages, and file documents.
2. Carry out assigned tasks in a timely, diligent, and professional manner to meet or exceed customer service level goals and team objectives.
3. Develop and maintain expertise in the execution of processes and procedures within a specific discipline to meet or exceed customer service level goals and team objectives.
4. Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
5. The ability to work independently as well as function as a cooperative team member and maintain a pleasant, outgoing, self-confident manner is required. Overtime is expected on an occasional basis to meet workload demands
